The College has been accredited by Edexel to offer a Higher National Certificate/Diploma in Business (Management) and Higher National Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management. Over the years, the College has also been approved to offer courses awarded by ICM, OCR, Edexcel and AQA. In the 1990s, the college was successfully accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC). In our last inspection in 2005, the college was rated as “good” and “excellent” in every area of inspection. We are also a Tier 4 Sponsors college. The College teamed up with Resource Development International (RDI) to deliver the Diploma in Management Studies. |

In the same year, the College was granted approved centre status by the University of Sunderland in 2005 to offer through RDI the top-up MBA (Master of Business Administration) and the BA (Hons) in Business top-up. Oxford Business College is registered on the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) as an educational provider and a DIUS Listed College. The college has also been granted a Tier 4 Sponsor Licence by the UK Border Agency allowing us to recruit international students in return for compliance with the duties of a licence holder. Flexibility Most of our programmes allow students to start their studies in September, January, April and July with the majority of subjects being assessed rather than examined. The college delivers courses from Undergraduate Foundation courses through to Masters degree level. Students can choose either to remain at the college to progress to the next level of study
or, with our support and assistance, apply to a wide selection of top UK universities.Opportunity The success of the College stems from the opportunities available to students on completion of their course of study. The HNC and HND can either give direct entry onto university, on either the second or third year of a degree programme, or provide an entry qualification to our top-up BA (Hons) in Business offered by UK universities. The Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) has enabled students to secure top management positions within industry, such as the Marriott Group, Oxford University Finance Division and many more. Being a Level 7 qualification, a number of universities offer a top up MBA for DMS graduates. ACCA professional qualification can be used as a direct stepping stone into employment. Some of the companies that have recently employed our students include; NatWest Bank, Pearson Education Ltd, Tesco Group and many more. Academic strengths Not only do our tutors have outstanding academic qualifications, but they also have extensive experience in senior management positions. In addition, our tutors have many years teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
