Oxford Business College is an independent education and training establishment specialising in Business Management courses. We are situated in the centre of Oxford, close to many of the university colleges, and therefore in a perfect position to enjoy all the facilities the city has to offer.

History and Accreditations
The College has over the last 23 years established a reputation for excellence with academic bodies, professional institutes and industry.

The College has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for the last 18 years not only as a study centre but also as an examination centre. CIM accreditation has been renewed every year since 1990 following a rigorous annual audit of our processes and pass rates.

Over the years, the College has also been approved to offer courses awarded by ICM, OCR, Edexcel and AQA.

In the 1990s, the college was successfully accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC). In our last inspection in 2005, the college was rated as “good” and “excellent” in every area of inspection. 

The College teamed up with Resource Development International (RDI) to deliver the Higher National Certificate/Diploma in Business Management and the Diploma in Management Studies.

In the same year, the College was granted approved centre status by the University of Sunderland in 2005 to offer through RDI the top-up Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the top-up BA (Hons) in Business.

Oxford Business College is registered on the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) as an educational provider and a Listed Body. The college has also recently been granted a Sponsor Licence by the UK Border Agency allowing us to recruit international students in return for compliance with the duties of a licence holder.

The University Foundation Diploma has over the years afforded a great number of students the opportunity of progressing onto undergraduate degree programmes at 70 leading universities.

The HNC and HND can either give direct entry onto university (without A-levels), on either the second or third year of a degree programme, or provide an entry qualification to our top-up BA (Hons) in Business offered through RDI and awarded by the University of Wales.

The Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) and MBA programmes have enabled students to secure top management positions within industry, such as the Marriott Group, Oxford University Finance Division and many more.

Our CIM and ACCA professional qualifications can be used as a direct stepping stone into employment. Some of the companies that have recently employed our students include Natwest Bank, Pearson Education Ltd., Tesco Group and many more.

Academic strengths
Not only do our tutors have outstanding academic qualifications, but they also have extensive experience in senior management positions. In addition, our tutors have many years teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
