Oxford Business College
The Edexcel HNC and HND qualifications are accepted by all UK universities giving direct entry with advanced standing onto their degree programmes.
Students who successfully complete the HNC/HND at the Oxford Business College will be eligible for direct entry to the second year of a business- or finance-related degree at a majority of UK universities. Those students who gain a merit or distinction profile on the HND can enter the third year of the degree at many universities. Alternatively, students can remain at the college and join the final year of a University of Sunderland degree.
The HNC and HND are accredited BTEC qualifications awarded by Edexcel and are made up of sixteen subjects – ten subjects relate to the HNC and six subjects to the HND. The courses are assessed predominantly through assignments.
The College offers two HNC/HND pathways, one in Business (Management) and the other in Business (Finance). All sixteen subjects have comprehensive workbooks which students can keep for future reference and teaching is conducted in small groups. |
